As a (Junior) Sales Manager, you play a key role in advising growers on technical installations within the greenhouse horticulture sector. You translate client needs into smart and reliable solutions in the fields of water technology, electrical systems, climate systems and grow lighting.
At Enthoven Techniek and Patron Agri Systems, sales goes beyond simply preparing quotations from behind a desk. You visit clients at their greenhouses, inspect installations up close, sit down with the client to discuss their needs, and work together with our engineers to create solutions that truly fit.
Our customers are experienced growers who have been in the industry for years and want to understand exactly why we approach things in a certain way. They ask critical questions and know what they want. Your role is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and translate this into a client-specific installation.
Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Visiting clients and identifying their technical needs in detail.
- Thinking along about solutions in the areas of water technology, electrical systems, climate systems and grow lighting.
- Working together with engineers on quotations and technical proposals.
- Following up on quotations and guiding the process towards order confirmation.
- Ensuring a smooth handover to the project and service departments after approval, while remaining involved where needed.
- Identifying opportunities in the market and with existing clients.
This is you:
- You communicate clearly and professionally in Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
- You are young at heart, curious, eager to learn, and motivated to continue developing yourself.
- You have a technical background (for example MBO level Electrical engineering or Water Technology) or have gained this knowledge through practical experience.
- You understand greenhouse horticulture, or you learn quickly. A grower's son/daughter? A greenhouse installation technician? A sales representative at a supplier? Then this role will probably suit you very well.
- You take initiative, keep an overview, and follow through on agreements.
